On June 15, 2010 I'll join 6 other gentlemen to dip the rear wheel of my recumbent bicycle into the Puget Sound. Then we will begin a 3500 + mile journey, passing through 13 states, at a pace that will let us take it all in. Along the way, we'll camp, eat lots of ice cream, and meet many new people. Then on August 23rd, I'll roll in to Connecticut and roll my front wheel into the Atlantic Ocean. Coast-to-Coast, an awesome experience. Then, I'll hop onto an Amtrak, and head back to Portland, OR; pick up my car, and drive back to Rock Springs, WY.
I'm a 5th grade teacher in Rock Springs, Wyoming. I love to read, teach, and ride my RANS Enduro F5 recumbent. I highly recommend that you try out a recumbent bicycle if you ever get the chance, they are very comfortable and so much fun.
I am also getting ready to start the Master's of educational leadership program at the University of Wyoming so that I can become a Principal.
